Away A While

I have not written anything on my blog in a long time so here it is:

Dear Blog,
I am currently wanting to find God's Will in my life. He has been telling me to stay content and wait. I have and He has been showing me glimpses of what is coming down the line. I am so excited by what is going to happen. Everything will fall into place in God's Time.

A New Friend

I am so happy that the Lord has lead Pastor Keith our way. His preaching style is so good. There is just something about the illustrations he uses that really speaks to me. My spirit has been so refreshed. He and I have a strange but sixth sense type connection. Which I have not have since I was in college. It is almost as if he is "strong in the Force".
I give him a big thumb up.

It's Just Fantasy Football!

What?!! Are you crazy?! These are the things I will probably here when my Fantasy League starts up. This the first year for me, so I guess I would be considered a rookie. I have a broad knowledge base when it comes to football, but for the impression I get is that will only cover about 50% of the knowledge I need. I am only afraid of doing something stupid, like the commercials (TJ Whosyourmomma) My urge to pick anyone from the Colts is a very strong one, it will be something I need to fight. Manning and Addai are the biggest urges. Where as I can see myself (If the urge is conqured) taking only one Colt. This would make a successful draft for me. Oh, yeah it is not the end of the world if I don't win, It's Just Fantasy Football!

Did Adam have a Belly Button?!

I have always wondered this very question, Did Adam of the Garden of Eden have a belly Button?

Here is a website that has pretty much cleared it up for me:

Four Smooth Stones

I Just finished a Bible study about David and Goliath. And a funny thing happened, I started asking myself the question, "What happened to the other stones David didn't use?" David took five smooth stones into battle, but only used one. What happened to the other stones? This question has prompted me to write a story about the four stones of David. Not to mention how many spiritual illustrations can be made from this simple question. Did he leave them there at the battlefield? Did he keep them as a reminder of what God did for him? All these questions I am trying to mull over. It sounds like a really good story to me.

Invisible

Have you ever gone through one day when you tried not to be noticed? Or maybe tried to hide in plain sight? I really have tried that, but it just doesn't seem to work. I have tried for so long to just be in existence and take up space, but it doesn't seem to fit. As a Christian I am not to try to do this anyway. God asks for us to be "visible". To let our light shine before ALL mankind. This includes fellow Christians. I am publicly apologizing to anyone who reads this, I am truly sorry for not being who I am. (sometimes this is a good thing. Ha Ha) So I am a new person in plain view. Hello World. Now, if only I could learn to fly . . .

Me and Malori

Teenagers

I have been through so much stuff. And I am only 28! This is apparently the time when life starts? I guess it is just starting to get interesting. I think. Well okay it is. God often deals with me according to my since of humor(He is the one that gave it to me)and I often ask, why me? and he always answers, you'll see. Well, I am starting to find out why He picked me to be the fun, hyperactive, crazy guy. TEENAGERS. He wants ME to work with teenagers?! We all either are or where teenagers at some point in our lives and we all understand what it is or was like. For some reason I am comfortable with this path that God has lead me to. He knows all and sees all, and for me that is all I need to know. Blessings have certainly come from working with teens. How else would I get to have some one eat a Hershey Cheese Dog! or get to use an air horn at 5:00 in the morning! or put up a tent that I have never seen before in my life, in the dark! It is almost like I have superpowers sometimes. Case in point, I work all day and then come home and expound all the remaining energy I have on trying to keep up with my two year old daughter. Then I go spend three hours with the Teens. From the outside looking in, it would seem tedious, but actually I have alot of fun. Red Bull is my Friend :)
